Google Trends: “God” soon to be more popular than “church”

I didn’t know what I would find when I asked Google how often people searched for the word “church” vs. the word “God.” What I found was pretty interesting:

Those trend lines are clear. Over the past ten years, progressively fewer people entered “church” into Google; progressively more typed in “God.” These lines will be crossing over each other sometime soon.
Takeaway for the church: talk/write/post more about God than church.
Isn’t that exactly what we’re called to do?
